The Colourful Tailleferre

Posted by Maciej Granat on Monday, April 9, 2012, In : Concert
18 April (Wednesday) at 7:30pm at the RCS.

This is my BIG THING this year and I've worked on it since the summer time with all those great people (listed below, together with that lovely title 'dedicated advocates' :P). The music is breathtakingly beautiful and definitely worth much more attention than it gets.

Please come, listen, watch, enjoy and fall in love the way we did.

And a short note from the RCS website:

Posted by Maciej Granat on Saturday, March 31, 2012, In : Other

I took part in the Lieder Competition at the RCS together with a hugely talented Klaudia Korzeniewska. Klaudia chose a great set of songs and we got commended and I received the Best Accompanist prize. Not bad :)
Then it was the Glasgow ...

I am very proud to announce the first concert of my piano class (that sounds very serious, doesn't it?)!

It will take place at the Kilmardinny Arts Centre (50 Kilmardinny Avenue, G61 3NN Glasgow), Sunday,10th December at 6:45pm.

I am probably even more stressed than my pupils :)

There will be plenty of colourful music, some four hands pieces even and I'll play something myself too, but this definitely my young students' evening!

There's free entry if you want to have a listen.
(I will attach the p...

Just a quick note on a concert that will take place in Beith Community Centre next Sunday at 3pm - I think :)

The Cunninghame Choir will perform a Christmas concert. Program includes:

Haendel - Messiah (excerpts)
Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on Christmas Carols
Finzi - In Terra Pax
and a set of Christmas carols

Robin Versteeg will conduct.
I will be accompanying in actually every single piece :) Seems like a marathon.
And I'll play a charming set of 3 Christmas Pieces by Martinu.

Please come and enjoy!
